Above other professional occupations, I'm a tour guide . I started working more than 20 years ago , initially traveling in Europe, and later as a local guide in Madrid, Segovia , Toledo and Escorial.
I have the good fortune to enjoy a job that allows me to something very important to me as is learning new things every day . Continuous training and enrichment that involves dealing with people anywhere in the world, culturally enriched me and motivates me to continue to deliver high doses of passion to my work.
I´m working as a freelancer for travel agencies, international tour operators and individuals. My customers are groups and individuals. As for nationalities, sorted by frequency criteria, I work with American, Japanese , Chinese, Russian , Spanish, Czech , Malay , Vietnamese, Saudis, Polish , Thai, etc. .
I am authorized as a official guide by the governs of Madrid and Castilla León , as well as by "Patrimonio Nacional" . There are now people who are offered as guides under suggestive advertisements for " Free Tours" , but the reality is that they are not authorized to explain, and instead of receiving a payment and paying taxes , they are asking for a tip . Your vacation is too valuable to take risks.
Besides tour guide I'm a writer of cultural issues. I write guides for museums and cities , in addition to editing a cultural magazine for over 8 years.
Among my hobbies is gastronomy, from the perspective of cooking and eating . I also like , and I am an amateur scholar and connoisseur of wine and beer. In recent times it has greatly increased the interest in gastronomy, becoming an important part of the sightseeing in and around Madrid . Other hobbies are wood carving, playing chess , reading and listening music.
About my personality I define myself as optimistic , nonconformist with injustice, quiet and reasonably outgoing.
